History
Our story began on October 8, 1842, when West Hanover Prestery received a petition from Diamond Hill from the Presterians living near Molley’s Creek. On April 19, 1843, Prestery was informed that Diamond Hill Presterian Church was organized with a membership gleaned from the fringes of Old Concord and Hat Creek.

A small heart-shaped quartz rock, literally covered with beautiful diamond-shaped stones, set the Master Hand, gave our church its name—Diamond Hill. Adam Clement, Sr. donated the land in 1842 for the church and his son, deeded the land to the church in 1903. The original building was built in 1890 and was of 6 inch weather boarding painted white. In May 1947, the church was brick veneered. In 1992, the stained glass windows depicting the life of Christ were added. We celebrated our 175th anniversary in the fall of 2017.
While we are proud of our past, we are genuinely excited about our future. We look forward to what God has in store. As Campbell County continues to grow, we invite you to consider whether God might be leading you to worship with us. Come be our guest, we’re saving a seat for you.
